[DVR] Remote and DVR

I have two TV's both same brand. I have one DVR and one regular cable. The room the DVR is in, when I use the remote it is very hesitante and changing settings. I thought this was the battery so I changed them. Still had the same problem. I got the other remote which didn't have a problem with the play, fast forward, rewind buttons in the other room. When I tried it where the DVR was it did the same thing. When I took the remote used with the TV were the DVR was and used it on the non DVR TV the play, fast forward, rewind buttons worked fine. I called and had my system reset and STILL same problem. When I call the wait time on the telephone is over 15 minutes!!! Let's see how long this TAKES!!!!

I have an occasional, similar problem with one of my Cisco RNG150 HD boxes, where it suddenly starts responding slowly (seconds of delay) to remote commands.

I have to do a power-plug reset (unplug for a few seconds and then plug back in) to restore normal operation again.

You never posted again to let us know if that fixed your problem, but some posters in the Comcast Support Forum seem to have also recently run into this problem:
