I had no idea that the Canpol forum existed, I can understand that BB can see who is a member of that forum as he is able to quote some 480 members. There is no link to that forum that I can find on the forums page and I had to literally do a search of all topics just to find a link from a post dated in 2011. That link brought me to a signup page.

My point being that there should be a link on the main Forums listing page. If there is one and I missed it then I apologize but then show me the link.

Here is the listing of all forums page. I see the CANPOL forum but thats maybe that I have access? I have always assumed its visible to all being a general listing, but if one clicks on the link it takes those, not with access, to a request to register page?

The link to the Canadian Politics forum can be found at the top of the page of the Canadian Chat Forum:

You don't see it in the General Forums listings because it is a private forum and not open everyone.
There are other private forums on the site as well.

The link will take you to an application page for CanPol that people can use to apply.....if they are interested.

It was decided long ago to peal off Political and other "hot button issues" into a seperate forum from CanChat because those types of topics were getting spammed with trolls and hotheads. This way people could still discuss those topics but the moderators could filter out known trouble makers and trolls.
