anon posted : Yes, Bell sent me about 5 filters over a 1 year period. Doesn't have any affect. I was thinking that the Phone puts too much stress on the line, when both internet and phone are used so maybe an upgrade service would help.

[Internet] Bell FTTN in Toronto

anon posted : Hello all,

We had bell internet for the longest time since I can remember. Found it reliable and consistent to what we paid. Until recently about 1 and a half years ago, every time we use our cordless phones it would disconnect our internet. The problem is on going and went through about 3 technicians so far.

Anyway while we are solving this, we are looking to upgrade as well, but the only package offered to us in our area is Fibe 5/1. Our current package which isn't offered for a while now is called Fibe 10 which gets suppose to get us 10mbps / 1 mbps upload.

I found it very disappointing that we been paying for a speed we could never reach, currently our speed is maxed at 6mbps / 0.6 mbps and bell can't do anything about it. :( I did some searching, and just 200-300 meters away, to my west the houses their can get Fibe 25/10 and the nursing home near me can also get Fibe as well. Does anyone know how long it may take for them to finally wire the box for my area, seems like I'm stuck in the middle with no options at all but to go to Cable internet but I don't wanna do that.
