Re: [Cable] Official upload nitpicking thread - ATPIA

Well that is the response Rogers is giving them, they won't troubleshoot your line/modem issue unless you have the "approved" firmware version. Although I know sometimes TSRs will push it through anyway and see if Rogers cares or not. Sometimes Rogers lets it slip and sometimes they don't.

Have you tried posting in the direct support forum? Martin and Elizabeth were able to push tickets to Rogers for me with my firmware version.

Yes. That was the original way I went. Then was told to wait for a call after everything was submitted. The call ended up being that it isn't supported. I'll go back to the direct route and see if I can get a bit more help that way, given you're on the same firmware and such as I am, and no issues.

Welp Mr S, here's a reply from TSI...

"Hello,

Thank you for the response. We have just attempted to send this information to our vendor, it was actually Liz that submitted the ticket. The vendor has noticed the firmware version, and will not continue to troubleshoot with this modem. I certainly do apologize for this matter, we won't be able to send any information to our vendor with this firmware.

Thank you
Ashleigh"

Wow Rogers sure has gotten more prickly about it now. Silly too because we know its not a FW issue since mine works, so it must be a signal/line issue.

Well my 1 year warranty just went up on my SB6121... guess I'll be paying Teddy Boom a visit soon to get the FW updated.
