Time Warner Cable - Legacy → [Internet] "Summer Sale" 15/1 for 34.99, should I down

When I first start, turbo is a pretty sweet spot with double the upload speed for $10.
How much impact in general(youtube and some gaming primarily, I will happily throttle torrent for $20) for 2mp upload vs 1 mp ?

Are you talking about watching youtube videos? Because really, upload shouldn't have any impact there. If you mean uploading videos to youtube, you should see it go about twice as fast lol.

As for gaming, MOST multiplayer games are fine with either 1 or 2 mbps. However, if you decide to host a game locally, the upload can really be a constraint. I found a 4-player game of left 4 dead is all I can reliably do on a 1 mbps connection. Once we try to go to 8-man vs, and everyone's connections start lagging really badly as my upload can't keep up.
