when is 45mbit (or at least 24mbit) available in Sac?

Just wondering when they will be updating the cards in Sacramento VRADs to provision the new speeds? I'm on 18mbit plan now.

my 3801hgv says:

User Rate 25287 kbs 2036 kbs
Max User Rate 44067 kbs Not Available

If max user rate is so high, why won't they let me order the 32/5 profile?

Re: when is 45mbit (or at least 24?) at my house

Get that home address out of there! This is a public forum and searchable by Google!

Do you want every Tom, Dick, and Harry showing up at your door?!?!

I have already alerted the moderators, hopefully they'll get your address out of that post before you do. It needs to get out of that post post-haste!

I'd be seriously looking into a Home Security System right now and get it installed tomorrow! This post is already cached on Google, the rabbit's out of the hat, the horse is out of the barn. No way to get it back in.

The 45mbps tier is already available in Sacramento. You do have to be on the 32/5 profile to qualify for install.

If you can only get 18megs then its a line issue you have. 24megs is available nation wide to the U-verse network itself. If you are on U-Verse IPDSL then your max is 18 but you would not be using the 3801hgv.

I'm in Sac, and can only get 18 (max plus). It's a newer community (built 6 years ago), and I was told that it is FTTP (and confirmed with the Uverse Realtime program). Ever since they "released" the 24 Mb tier, i was told that FTTP people would eventually get upgraded. Now it looks like the 45 mb tier is available in most markets, and available in Sacramento, but again us FTTP people are getting screwed for no apparent reason.

You'll be upgraded to GPON as part of VIP and qualify for a lot more than 45M. There are several new speed tiers coming that benefit people on FTTP.
