df909 posted : I suspect it's a slight mistake in the order form. Ebox allows you to bring your own modem for the other dsl tiers, just not the 25/10. While you can use any VDSL2 modem of your choice, you don't have a choice beyond renting or buying the sagemcom -- it's a Bell requirement.

akmeikle posted :
The order process allows you to select 25/10 service while allowing you to bring your own modem so I was hoping I could use a Huawei HG610 VDSL2/ADSL2+ which I know works perfectly on non-stinger remotes

df909 posted : It's $50.95 if you select Quebec as your region. All you have to do is switch it to Ontario and the price automatically adjusts. Also dryloop is currently free and I don't think Bell allows VDSL2 installations without a sagemcom purchase/rental (this goes for any Indie ISP you decide to go with).

akmeikle posted :
Re Pricing of 25/10 service
You have 25/10 DSL service listed at $45.95 but when I go to the order page it magically becomes $50.95. What is the correct price?

And does it include dryloop costs? Another service provider (teksavvy) charges $39.99 + $5 dryloop cost so i'm curious to see if you're competitive with this rate.

Re VDSL2 Modem
I notice with your online registration you have the option to have your own modem "Do you have your own modem: yes/no"

Can any VDSL2 modem be used (assuming i'm not connected to a stupid stinger remote) ? Since the sagemcoms have so many issues in bridge modem I'm looking to use a cheaper vdsl2 compliant modem like the Huawei HG610.

Thanks

Alistair
