Re: [Cable] Speedboost dead after Comstock migration?

It just means there isn't enough capacity to go around.

After the Comstock migration... and, seemingly, only for Teksavvy customers in my area

I think I should clarify why I posted. Although I am wondering whether Speedboost isn't dead for Teksavvy (Rogers) cable customers, I am, more importantly, wondering whether Rogers isn't botching something again during POI migration (and whether there truly is enough capacity going forward).

if you're serious about troubleshooting then connect a computer directly to the modem and see how it goes.

it's possible there's some shaping happening on the TSI Rogers link with whatever 'fix' they applied. but who knows, TSI isn't being transparent at all with what's happening on their network lately.

I have, although I can't say I'm overly concerned about speedboost in of itself. I'm more concerned about what the implications are.

Anyway, the results are the same, and it doesn't matter what time of day I test. I have a hard time believing there's tons of congestion in the morning on my node. Also, I get 44-45 Mbps down regardless of the time of day from speedtests.

Yes, very true
