Comcast XFINITY → fixed my comcast problem w games

I downgraded firmware to 1.39, and my problems vanished. i later realized after i upgraded to newest one, thats when the problems arouse. i still had old one, flashed it, and now im good to go.

Sounds like a linksys router. Only comcast can send firmware to cablemodems.

I thought you had the same problem even with a direct line to either PC, bypassing the router?

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else?

If I am remembering correctly a flash of the router bios should not have done the trick as the router was eliminated as the potential bottleneck.

Maybe gateway performance improved?

well i thought tracerting and getting *'s was connected to it, but that was too in fact my router. when i plugged it straight into pc, all i did was tracert, no line quality. and yes, a linksys 4 port router
