[WIN7] Upgrade questions

Hey guys,

I have 2003 Student but need to upgrade to 2010 (not 2013/365). I can only afford student again (barely but need two licenses) but it doesn't have Outlook which I use daily.

If I install 2010 will it render Outlook 2003 useless?

You can have Office 2010 & Office 2003 installed on the same machine as long as both are 32-bit. Don't install the 64-bit version of Office 2010 in this scenario.
What I'd recommend is choose the "Remove features" option in your Office 2003 setup to remove all but Outlook. Then install Office 2010. Should work fine.
