Start selling but ship when?

Start selling but ship when? For example, I don't think they are shipping the Freedom Spot MiFi 5580 yet. I ordered on the morning of the first day they had it on their web site (Aug 6, almost 2 months ago) and they have not shipped it yet. But they charged my credit card the day I ordered it!

Things like this are why I won't deal with this company. Charging someone before the product ships is shady, plain and simple.

Everythime I contact them about when it will be shipped, they say "Soon", 5 to 7 business days, a month later they said 2 to 5 business days. THey even said before Labor Day which has come and gone.

Unless you really, really want it, it might be time to cancel and ask for a refund, which will likely end up requiring a call to your credit card company to dispute the charge.

Thanks. I did call my credit card company. I explained what was going on. They said for this case, they will extend the time I have to dispute the charge. I think I will wait until that time is near before I cancel the order.

In the mean time, I will research what else is available by other companies. I mostly use home and public WiFi so I will be a low user. My wife uses a wymax mifi from them which I sometime use on weekends when no public WiFi is available. We have never gone over Freedompop data limits.

Suggestions are welcome for other companies which have low usage planes. The only time I think I may go over is when I'm on vacation.

Wow really? I've been really looking at FreedomPop just for grins, and was saving up for that LTE-capable Mifi. Looks like I'll be holding off a while longer yet.

Hi

The first one that comes to mind is TING. The next is Republic Wireless.

Have you tried to contact freedom pop, I had to deal with a refund on service once and it went very smooth, no need to deal with credit card company then.
