Re: [Cable] Cancelling Service - quick question

I considered Distributel myself, but again, its the same issue as Teksavvy. I called them and they even confirmed service was down in the KW area currently. I feel like im stuck in an abusive relationship with Rogers which I just cant end

Sadly, if you go to rogers and ask them to match teksavvy's price/offer Rogers magically will have it and can get you up the same day. (if you pick up a modem) Proves Rogers is up to no good, but if you need service and can't wait... I guess you have to.

I personally feel it rewards bad behaviour, but sometimes if you just need to get service back, you have to do what you have to do.

I do feel this is all due to ROGERS upgrading their network (moving to a 8X3 channel system, with 2x5.2mb, 1x2.5 uplink channels instead of 4x2.5) but it would appear they focus only on their own customers to get them back up and treat the TPIA customers as 2nd class and get to them when they feel like it. It's part of the cnoc complaint, and does need addressed.
