Jets game Sunday. Route advice

I purchased tickets to this Sundays game a few weeks back not realizing the marathon was this Sunday! I am wondering what is the best route to get to the game. I was planning on taking the Verrazano since I live right by it but that is out of the question. I tried looking up what else is closed but for some odd reason I am unable to find any information. I would assume my best bet is to take the Battery tunnel to the Lincoln Tunnel?

defn take the lincoln tunnel or i would even park in the city on the street since its sunday and take a NJ Transit train from Penn or PATH to Hoboken then take a NJ Transit to Secaucus Junction and take a shuttle rail to the stadium.

Parking at Metlife still sucks really bad.

I purchased a parking pass already so it makes no sense to eat the cost of not parking there. If I knew the marathon was this Sunday I would of defiantly took public transportation.

Here is the course route: »www.ingnycmarathon.org/i ··· rWeb.pdf

If you live west of it, then the Battery to the Lincoln should be no problem. If you live east, you have three choices:

1. Mass transit (subway to Penn Station to NJ Transit)
2. Leave now and get a hotel
3. Be hating life while you listen to the game on radio, stuck in traffic.

Thanks. Looks like I should be ok. Still leaving around 10am tho. It says it should only take 40 mins but of course that's on a normal day.
