Re: [CallCentric] New Feature - Telemarketer Block (Nov. 2013)

I just tried it out and it works great!

Does it use a computer-generated or human voice? I hope it is not the woman with the irritating New York-accented voice. I would not want to repel callers by making them listen to that.

What does the message say, exactly? I hope it is short.

No matter what, though, Callcentric deserves congratulations for adding this.

It says, "Press 'X' (short pause) to connect your call". You can specify a digit to be pressed, or it can be random for each call.

It does not sound like a computer-generated voice. The voice does not sound like a NY-accent to me.

What's wrong with New York accents, eh?

But in fact, it is a professionally recorded message with a neutral female accent.

It's seemed to me that all the CC announcements lately have been upspiffed and professionally recorded.

Yes it is short.

"Press (digit) to complete your call".

You choose the digit (or it can be random).

They do, and I'm sure there's more to come.

EDIT: [crazyk4952] already covered this, sorry I missed that post.

It's a nice telephone number you got here... It would be a pity if something were to happen to it... CC is NY company, you know...

Well, they might want us to pay extra for something like this, cuz this would scare those telemarketers away for sure.
