well, i got win98, and i used to get so many crashes i couldn't count them all. so i formatted the computer, and reinstalled win98, and it seemed ok for a few weeks, and then the problems started to come back.

first of all, whenever the screensaver is activated, and goes away, internet explorer and winamp do not open properly, and freeze the computer. i solved this by not using the screensavers.

Then i noticed that most of my games were running very slowly. i updated my drivers for the graphics card, and everything seemed fine, for about 30 seconds. then the game crashed, and everything froze until i restarted. this happened with more than one game. i solved this by going back to the original drivers i had. it runs really slow, but it doesn't crash.

and last but not least, i can't shut down my computer without getting that damn blue screen. it happens quite randomly, but i noticed that if i shutdown using a shortcut on my desktop, the BSOD's are reduced.

i swear i need a new computer...
