[ALL] just didtched wireless N for ACMY internet got really slow pulled the trigger on a wireless AC setup The difference is HUGE. Using premier. I had no idea it would make this big of a difference at all. Is this normal? I wonder if it could handle cox ultimate. |

Is that a speedtest done on a wireless connection?
And what kind of router did you get? |

I suspect that the bottleneck was more likely the old router's hardware itself more than the wireless link speed. I doubt even connecting wired would have had much impact. I don't know what you had before, but lot of early 802.11n routers topped out around 30MB throughput. That said, either way, you're WAY faster now, and that's the bottom line. I also am a big fan of ASUS routers, so good choice there. I have an RT-N66U myself and love it. |

Are there any modem/router combo units that support wireless AC yet? look at the link speed. 50 FT away with one wall. |
