take the splitter out of the tv card and i bet it will be fine. its common knowledge that splitting the line twice causes that excact problem. and just because it worked before doesnt mean it will work now your cable entering your house degrades over time. never split your modem signal now that is common knowledge 101. just because a 8 cylinder engine will run on 7 does not mean everything is good 101
I run my cable modem and WINTV card off a dedicated run from the initial splitter off my tap.
As long as the initial home run is a clean one with acceptable signal levels, this can be done.
