Here is how it works (the same as the last three years)...

Each week of the playoffs, post your picks for each game.

Important: The order in which you post your picks will determine the "confidence points" that you place on your picks.

The first pick will be worth 4 points, the second worth 3, the third worth 2, and the last worth 1.

The wildcard games (in no particular order) this year are set as follows:

KC @ IND
NO @ PHI
SF @ GB
SD @ CIN

So, if your picks for the first weekend are posted as...

IND
GB
NO
CIN

and the actual results are

SD

Then you would earn a score of 4 + 2 for picking IND and NO correctly, but no points for picking the other two incorrectly.

The first two weeks of the playoffs will have confidence point values of 4, 3, 2, and 1. The conference championship week will have confidence point values of only 4 and 3, and the Superbowl itself will be worth 4.

The winner will be the person with the most points after the winner of SB XLVIII is determined.

I will keep a running tally in a spreadsheet, and post the results weekly so that you can see who is ahead and who is behind, and perhaps adjust subsequent picks accordingly.

NOTE: You must post your picks before the start of the first game of the weekend. Once the first game starts no changes or additions will be accepted.

Alrighty then ...

Chiefs up 21 pts at halftime but have lost Charles for the remainder of the game.

Might there be some Luck magic to come? Or does KC hold on for a big win?

Even with all the injuries this was the Chief's game to win or lose. When your defense can't tackle well.... what more can be said lol.

LOL, that is not what I would called a ballgame. That is what they call a nightmare. Just about everything that could go wrong for the Chiefs did.

No argument there, talk about Murphy's law. I am certain KC's head coach wants to wring Mr. Murphy's neck about now. Anyway, 2/2 so far on my picks, we shall see what tomorrow brings.
