I like to tell the guys at a site that if they have plans for any more children, don't go near the antenna! Tends to keep them away |

Standard signs. We use blue bordered 'Notice' signs stating that the radio frequency fields may exceed the fcc general public exposure limit at all of our tower sites. There is a requirement for the signage based upon the emissions ie Green, Blue, Yellow, Red. We place signage at the entrance gate (if it is away from the tower), on the fencing around the tower site and also next to the door of the shelter. I think the requirement may only be that it is placed in plain view, signs are cheap though.. |

For me its just to keep vandals away. I will have a high site in a paddock or on a hill that can be private land, but the landowner may allow people onto his property and he cannot be responsible if they damage one of my sites, so I try to discourage them from coming close to it. |
