Another AT&T ploy! They will raise rates using the excuse of they provided more HD channels. Of course they did but they are channels that 99% of the users don't want nor watch.

In the meantime, still no Hallmark channel?

Maybe there are even more channels coming?

The website says "AT&T U-verse® TV provides crystal-clear digital picture and sound, and with over 500 channels of family favorites, movies, and sports, there’s a TV package for everyone!" and "access to over 200 HD channels and growing!" when it used to say over 190 HD channels and I thought the 500 number was lower?

Maybe I'm just going crazy :P.

Out of all the providers out there and you can compare yourself U-Verse has by far the most HD channels then anyone else. And to the first reply its not a "ploy" every provider has a rate increase due to transmission costs going up. No one is immune to this.

Count me in that 1%. We use Nicktoons HD and BBC World News, one of the best cable news channels (for actual news).

I certainly realize that but when they had stupid channels to justify the price increases it's ridiculous.
