When FileZilla tries to connect, it fails. I don't really know if it is failing because it has no password or not... It just doesn't connect.

mix - I cannot seem to find a place on the Charter wedsite for dummies that lose their FTP passwords! I looked there first.

compu - I think I have changed my usual charter site password in the past year - but I don't know if that automatically changes the FTP password as well.

I'll keep trying to figure this out.

You can look at an FTP site without the password, but if you upload or delete anything, you need the password.
