Thanks...but if I walk pass when I come home and then sit in the den and watch television for a few hours, will it assume I am not home?

I really don't know. I don't think I've gone that long without going to the bathroom. The Nest in my house is next to the bathroom that's used the most so it would sense some movement at least once an hour.
