ubiqutti wireless equipment

hello guys i have a ubiquiti M2 rocket on a 21metre tall mini base station,i want to extended my coverage using ubiquiti nanostations and bullets.i have configured and connected two (ubiquitti nanostations) acting as repeaters and its working fine if i connect a third nanostation my whole network slows down my acces speeds decreases awkwardly it takes long to even open a single website, but if i disconect the nanostation everything goes back to normal,...is there a limit to the number of nanostation devices you can connect to act as repeaters,at what maximum distance away from the Rocket M2 can you place another repeater.
thankss

I am jsut getting started with Ubiquity equipment so I really cannot answer your question.

But, have you tried contacting Ubiquity directly explaining your setup and your issue?

ubiquiti forum would be a better place.

everytime you repeat you lose half the bandwidth, after 3 jumps you have lost over 80% of your bandwidth. repeaters are not recommended

Good point. I would think he would need to do something like:

rocket ---> nanostation w/ ethernet to nanostation ---> nanostation w/ ethernet to nanostation ---> nanostation

The above would get the distance without using a single nanostation as a repeater. Ubiquity has nanostations with two ethernet ports so this is completely possible even if the middle nanostations need a local connection to something.

Was my suggestion clear as mud??

yes that will work, although the 2nd ethernt port is know to burn out the poe connection. most recommend 2 cables and switch, but people have done it succesfully
