[Troubleshooting] verizon hotspot woesI recently purchased an unlimited 3g mifi 2200. Our area is running the 4g lte network so the 3g mifi on the evdo is painfully slow. I purchased a samsung sch lc11 hotspot that runs all networks but Verizon wants me to give up my unlimited plan. The mifi 2200 hotspot has no sim card so I cant just swap it over. I am at a stand still and dont know what to do! !! Anyone have any suggestions? |

#1 don't give up the unlimited plan no matter what. Buy the device outright and then ask Verizon to move the unlimited plan to the device.
Verizon will not discount a phone w/a 2 year agreement and give you the deal on unlimited internet. |

Unless the plan you have that is unlimited is a phone based plan and not an unlimited 3G mifi plan you are out of luck. If it is a phone plan you will need to get a sim for the sch lc11 hotspot from a cheap 4G phone with a clean esn like off ebay. Once you have the sim card you can move it to the 4G hotspot and keep the unlimited. 3G unlimited hotspot plans aren't much use anymore since the Evdo network is so slow in most places. |
