Re: Can we get an update on the status of Chatham congestion?

Oh I didn't realize going higher in a cable tier would provide more bandwidth during congestion. So is it like percentage based?

I often see people on here with 50mbit cable connections and their evening times still drop sub 3mbit.

All I know is that when I am having issues, my speeds are much lower but still functional (I am on the 60).

A while back there were other issues in Chatham where when there was issues, I was offline completely.

I might just play around with a DSL connection then. It just sucks that I have to mess around with install/admin fees to test if I can have reliable internet.

Back in the days of major rCable POI congestion, package didn't make any difference at all. People subbed at 3mbit/s often didn't even notice anything was up, but of course people on 28 noticed a big issue. Cogeco could be quite different though.. Doesn't cost much to test it out and see.
