SetiSpy will hide F@H client

Until our wonderfully creative programmers here have finished creating some add-ons for us, fyi SetiSpy will hide the F@H client.

I know lots of you have already figured this or something else out, but if anyone wants details:

Put an additional copy of SETISpy into the F@H folder, rename it F@HSpy or whatever you like, go to the Spy's Client>Configure screen, browse to the F@H program on "Client path" and "Client Window title" options, and check "Start client on SETISpy start", "Restore Client Minimized". Checking "Hide client" on the "Client" screen will hide the dos box. You can put a shortcut to Spy in Win STARTUP folder, so it opens on startup and starts F@H.

It sits in the tray yellow, but I like a way to check on my dos box now and then. Just open Spy, uncheck "Hide Client" from the Client screen, take a look at what frames are finished. Check the "Hide Client" when through looking, and it obeys.

In order to stop F@H and not lose current work, open the Spy, uncheck "Hide Client" on the Client screen to cause F@H dos window to display, and stop F@H with Ctrl-C. I would not suggest selecting the "Stop Client on SETISpy exit" option in the Client Config for Spy, as that will lose your work if you exit Spy.

What is interesting is that SetiSpy will hide just about any program running in a dos box!

I use it to hide my SetiQ box. However, our local folders have come up with a littel app that works a bit better for hiding the F@H box & saves the results too. Now if I can just get it to run on my Athlon . . .
