It's awesome that you want to help someone out by giving them money off their bill. However, it really does kill the whole reason for the referral program. :(

If this becomes a regular trend, I can see Start removing the program for those using it legitimately to pass along their thanks.

For what it's worth though, just for others reading is that referral program isn't really an "after-the-fact-who-wants-a-credit" program, I mean you do what you have to do but the spirit of the referral program is supposed to be an incentive to spread the word to your family and friends so they can have the same great internet/experience you have and our small thanks for your help in letting others know. ;)
