I would strongly recommend calling in to speak with a support agent while the issue is happening to go over a few tests and see if a ticket may be required.

Speedtest wold show the 60/10 but websites, yotube videos, daily motion videos would take forever to load. Playing online on PS4 becomes very laggy as well. It happens to all the machines

So far I have tried the following with no success

1. Changed the DNS server's (Google, Start Communication, etc)
2. Reset the modem once
3. Removed IE cache and temp files
4. Connect the computer directly to modem
5. Factory reset the router (Apple Airport Extreme)
6. Release and renew IP

Looks like the node I am connected get congested during that time. Also I am not on unlimited package to get variable speeds

Nice... I was on the 35/3 and moved to the 30/5. I am using an apple router which doe snot support QOS and was going to test for a week to see if the additional uploads would make things better for me.

If they did not, I was going to move to the 60/10 for the additional upload, but without QOS I am not sure it would have solved my issues, but seeing your post gives me hope.

(I use apple products to solve my home music problem, and one of the stations I have would not be able to connect to a non-apple router *sigh*)

- edit: Actually, I think I can solve this with powerline adapters. I may do this if the main AE base station craps out on me

My WRT54GL worked fine at 30Mbps, each on Cogeco and START, standard firmware and later Tomato, but I have not asked it to work at a higher speed service.

I am currently on a 20/10 account plan and it likes that too, so mine can remain until some other reason presents itself to replace.

If it's still not to your satisfaction give us a call and we'd be happy to work through some trouble-shooting to see if it's able to be improved.

Looks pretty normal to me. You're off by only 1 megabit, which in my experience is within the margin of error for Speedtest.net. Mine usually goes up and down 2-3 mbits from one test to another.

But if you were to judge how TSI's new Zap The Cap option works, THEY are offering to actually reduce the subscriber's account's speed during 8PM-12Midnight, so that the subscriber could not draw as much traffic during that period, even if they forgot to try to be considerate to the provider.

The subscriber in return gets to have unlimited traffic and not pay as much as they would if they chose unlimited without ZTC.

But, as I explained above, they get slowed down quite a piece during that 4 hour period, and that does not work for some folks.
