Can I use Using Lithium instead of Zinc Air???

Power One 312 Zinc Air battery

Duracell 312 Lithium batteries
I currently use the »www.powerone-batteries.c ··· es/p312/ Power One 312 Zinc Air 1.45v batteries for my Phonak Audéo Q-M312 digital hearing aids. I only have a few 312 Zinc Air 1.45v batteries left. So looking online to stock up. I came a cross these »www.cleanitsupply.com/p- ··· od8VQApQ Duracell 312 Lithium 3.0v batteries higher voltage means longer run time in my digital aids. These Duracell 312 Lithium batteries higher voltage won't damage my Phonak Audéo Q-M312 digital hearing aids will they???

I would check with the manufacture or your manual. no one knows for sure if the cell will fry the hearing aid

No. The electronics in question are designed to operate to a specific maximum voltage. Feeding 3 volts to something designed for 1.45 volts will destroy it.

That picture says 1.45v Zinc Air on the Duracell.

And looking up the Duracell 312 on Amazon lists it as a 1.45v battery.

As far as the packaging is concerned, both are equivalent. Both are identified as 312, both are 1.45V and both are packaged as "hearing aid" batteries. It should work fine but just to be sure check with your manual or the manufacturer of the hearing aid for compatible batteries.

Edit: Looking at your link, they have it all wrong. The packaging states at the bottom that it is zinc air and 1.45V. You are looking at exactly the same battery as your other battery. If the Duracell is cheaper then go for it.

I don't know how fast your hearing aids use up their batteries but I saw in Amazon that they are also available in 60 or 80-count packages which will probably save you a bundle.
