Re: [Caps] Re: Comcast 300Gb data caps, How long can they do this?

ALOT of Comcast area's now have this cap

300 GB per month
You get 3 times every 12 month to go over the cap
The 4th time you go over your cap for a month you get charge 10$ for every 50GB over 300GB

I could do much better with a 500GB cap.

If I can't consistently keep under 300Gn I'm going to cut cable TV services to off set the cost whihc is exactly the opposite of what Comcast wants me to do.

Internet is more important than Cable to me.

I also have 100MB speed which at times is silly cause it just means I can reach my cap much quicker.

Something has to give, Comcast just needs to have some realistic options.

I'd actually pay 10-15$ more a month for an uncapped option.

The fact their is no options is ridiculous.

You pay for what you use. That's your option. Or you can unbundle, pay a lot more, and get business class.

The problem is for "unlimited" you'd likely have to pay $100 more a month, not $10. And you can. Right now.

100Mbit business class costs $200/month, plus whatever increase you see in going from double/triple play down a step on residential video (if you have it.)
