I've dealt with Marvell in several past lifetimes - and it has always been more than a royal pain in the ass to get access to their code.<br><br>OpenWRT should be able to run on the WRT1900AC shortly since the Marvel code was received by the OpenWRT team a few days ago.<br><br>Progress!  :D]]></description>

I had both connected to a 50/50 VDSL connection and was able to sustain 50Mbps file transfers without a hiccup.<br><br>I have found that the radio on the WRT1900AC is louder than the radio used in the RT-AC68U.  I have been having quite a bit of fun knocking my neighbors cell phones off their own AP, from time to time.  :p  I's a little game we play, I knock 'em off, then they have to crack my WPA2 code so they can associate to the WRT-1900AC.  ;)<br><br>My biggest grip with the 1900AC is the lack of 3rd part firmware support due to the Marvell driver issue.<br><br>Thus far the RT-AC68U has been stellar speed wise with DD-WRT, 105 rule iptables, OpenVPN, and running tcpdump and netperf on a regular basis.]]></description>
