I've installed and still managing couple Vigo 2130Vn (obsolete model now), using VPN, Wifi and SIP and it's rock solid. The firmware on this model is actually OpenWRT based, you get root access as well.

No idea really, I've just logged in to the machines I'm managing and those don't have DSL modems in them. 2130 model is router/vpn/wifi/sip combo. Sorry, it was a while I did setup these.

EDIT: One more clarification, not all models have OpenWRT based firmware I was told.

It will 99.9% not work on a Stinger, unless the chipset is Ikanos.

do you have like a list of ikanos chipset modems?

I tried 2.5.0.4, unfortunately stats were crappy, had to downgrade to TSI's latest firmware on the site. Power went down on upload/download leading to lower attainable and sync speeds.
