<description><![CDATA[mgraves1 posted : Back in 2006-7 I ran Astlinux on a Soekris Net4801. That SBC has an AMD Geode CPU running at 233 MHz. With some G.729 licenses installed I found that it could transcode 2 or 3 calls to/from G.711.<br><br>G.729 is pretty cpu intensive. Transcoding between ulaw and alaw is trivially simple in comparison.]]></description>
