Frontier FiOS packet loss Lynnwood, WA area

I have Frontier's 50 Mbit down package. I don't know what my upstream is technically supposed to be but it consistently scores in the mid-20's.

Starting this past weekend I'm noticing any where between 1 and 4 percent packet loss depending on the internet address I ping. Frontier support has taken a look from their end and they don't see any issues so they are sending a tech out today.

Some of the sites I've been pinging are www.microsoft.com, www.premera.com, www.google.com, and www.mcdonalds.com.

Is anyone else having packet loss issues?

Not sure if it's related but for the last several days I have been getting constant disconnects from CrashPlan while trying to send from multiple machines in the house. Connections start and are disconnected within 1-5 minutes after uploading miniscule amounts of data. This is after averaging 6-7 Mbps recently (25/10 plan). We're in an apartment so no way to reset the ONT AFAIK. I haven't called yet.

As a follow-up FWIW, chatted with them tonight after Speedtest.net returned 25Mbps down but 0.25Mbps up and after trying a few things including apparently receiving a new IP, they're sending out a new router.

I was having some problems with my ONT this week. Turned out it was a loose power wire. After having power off long enough to fix the wire I found that I got a new IP when I came back up. The new IP range I'm on is apparently experiencing packet loss as you can see by the attachment I uploaded. The big spike before the consistent loss starts is where I had the ONT disconnected yesterday to repair it. The IP range I was on before that disconnect was 50.125.73.x. I was on that IP at least as far back as my router log goes (Dec 12th). The new range I'm on since coming back up is 50.46.128.x. Looks like that range sucks!

I got a call from the Frontier tech that was due to come out to my house today. She basically said that the "Manor North" area is oversold and overloaded and this packet loss is a known issue.

I asked for a way to track the issue but she said that was impossible.

My public IP is in the 50.46.128.x range, currently.

I'm pinging the IP of my FiOS Actiontec modem from my work connection (6Mbps bonded T1's from Integra Telecom).

LoL, And what do they have planned to take care of the oversold and overloaded issue?

FYI my packet loss stopped around 7PM on 1/9. Still have the same 50.46.128.x IP.
