On MY trusty ol' Win2K Thinkpad, there is of course IE6, plus Opera 11.64 and FF10 (could not get FF12 to work, but 10 ESR does work too).

Windows has SP4 and all available updates applied.

IE6 is fine for some sites, but naturally not for all.

I don't use IE6 all that much these daze, as I am a tab-oholic and so have gravitated mostly to recent FireFox ESR 24 series and current PaleMoon on my newer PCs where I do most of my browsing.

Scripts have not been something which I have addressed much, but to improve performance and reduce headaches, since sometime last year I DO run Adblock Plus with FireFox (including with FF10 on that Thinkpad with Win2K), and with SeaMonkey on my Vista PC, and I now run the PaleMoon fork of ABP called 'Adblock Latitude' with any PaleMoon installs on my Vista & XP units.
