Re: Actions button opens new page

No, Javascript....NOT Java Virtual Machine from Oracle. They are two different things.

Do you ever get this page on this site?

»Site FAQ »Javascript/AJAX

Can you post a screen shot of Fx saying it is blocking Flash update for your protection? I can't imagine why it would say that ...but maybe because it is XP and that OS is not supported anymore. My XP Pro computer died about 4 months ago so I can't check to see if I get a message like that.

Sorry, I've been out all day.

I managed to force a flash update manually by downloading the MSI from »www.adobe.com/products/f ··· on3.html I'm unable to update it from the auto update feature or even if I download the update .exe. It has to be MSI installer not the EXE. If I try to install using the .exe installer it stalls and never finishes.

Here's the screenshot you wanted.

Your problem is one of these:
[att=1]

You need to allow javascript (not java, not flash, but javascript) for this site.

DOH! dslreports was blocked in NoScript.

I had to do a clean install of Fx about a week ago and in the process I had to reinstall all my extensions. I forgot to re-add an exception for dslreports.com and dlsr.net in NoScript.

I'm glad you got it solved!

(As for Flash, I had forgotten but I think Adobe stopped supporting Flash on XP once Microsoft stopped all support. So, that would explain why the problems in installing it on XP now).
