The unethical/illegal route in comparison....People can share cable & other accounts now with friends/family now by using their login and pass and and get live streaming internet access to CNN, MSNBC, both Fox News stations, HBO, Showtime, ESPN, TBS, TNT, Cartoon Network, USA network, History Channel, Oxygen, CNBC, Oxygen, Netflix, & Hulu & many more. Then there's free and/or international sites that you can get for free, all the BBCs, Euronews, Al Jazzera English, France 24 News, RT, Newsmax, NHK, Sky News, Travel Channel, Food Network, & many more....some need a VPN or smartdns to reach.
Then there's Popcorn Time for granny to torrent from and basic torrenting for everything else.
Total price = VPN & cost you worked out with family/friends.
Debated with myself if I should post this, but it's part of the equation that the TV industry is facing. I wonder if the TV industry is going to morph more into being mostly free with getting most of their revenue from advertising and the quality of movies & shows going down a bit due to the decreased revenue. |
