Wow, there are now three contenders in the VR world that I know about. Seeing as VRVana/Totem didn't make their kickstarter goals that pretty much leaves Valve and OR as the most likely contenders.

I'd definitely throw buckets of cash at Valve for this.

It's going to be a good year to be a PC Gamer.

Is Oculus Rift actually going to happen? Seems like it should have been out by now.

They've released another prototype at CES called Crescent Bay, which is supposed to be closer to the final product than DK2. At this point, I'm betting the Steam/HTC venture will be hitting the market before the Oculus Rift.

I'd much rather support something with Valve behind it than Facebook, so here's hoping the Valve/HTC releases on schedule.

Supposedly all three entries into the market will have a consumer release by the end of this year.
