Re: [ONT] Need a new ONT?I guess I'm not sure about the process to go through...should I order service and setup an appointment, then call the FSC OCG? What number would I call to speak to that group? |

You cannot speak to the FSC OCG, they do not speak to customers. My suggestion would be to order service and setup an appointment, and then post in the Direct forum with your order number, explain the situation, and ask if the order can be pushed and the tech cancelled. |

Ask knordrw pointed out, YOU can not directly speak to them, but if you have a pending order, and patience, get on the horn and start pressuring the reps to contact them (which they CAN do!). Unfortunately, as I said, you WILL need patience. |

I posted on the direct forum explaining my situation, got a pretty quick reply basically stating I would need to place an order and set it to about a week out for install, give the direct forum person my order number and they can get it pushed through in about 20 minutes. Perfect! |

Had partial luck getting it activated...the PWR, BATT, and NTWK lights are lit up...the tech said it wasn't communicating, then after a few other things he tried, the MGMT light came on, and DATA comes on for a few seconds then goes off, and does this repeatedly. He said he switched it from MOCA to Ethernet...but it's not showing a connection to my ethernet port, which I tried several ethernet cables, directly to my router, and direct to my laptop. Is it possible something was missed on his end? |

What is the 10/100/1000 light doing? The idea that he said that he changed it from MoCA to Ethernet somewhat concerns me. It should have automatically provisioned on Ethernet, especially if you ordered the 150/150 speed. |

I did not order the 150/150 speed...That's what I had several years ago (150/65). He told me once it came online with the MGMT light, that it was set to COAX. The light is off and the link/carrier light above it is also off. If my memory serves me correctly when I had fios before, the LINK light was on, and the 10/100/1000 light would blink for activity, like a standard NIC does. |
