I'm not sure Marcin wants us to update any faster than the MBAM CDN can be populated. Parsed from the Forum announcement - quote: Weve just started rolling out a new patch update for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, v 2.1.7.1055, through the standard Malwarebytes Anti-Malware program update service.
This update is being sent out slowly to start so only a small number of users will receive it today. But we hope to ramp up quickly over the next week or so. We havent posted any information on our website yet about this release, but that will come as soon as the update has been made more widely available. [...]
I'm not seeing anything yet but will post back a screen capture that I've updated and feedback on the new stuff. If you've got a current version installer somewhere, it's probably a good thing to keep on hand just in case you don't like something and might want to roll back until you're fully ready. |

Nothing as of yet Buddel . The MBAM CDN is still delivering the current build so you don't want to go there. It's being slowly rolled out to avoid congestion and other issues to the best of my understanding. |

Hello All:
An urgent MBAM2 release (v2.1.8.1057) was made that resolves "a potential crash when scanning that had to do with how we were parsing digital signatures."
The throttled upgrades have been reset. If your system was at v2.1.7.1055 Premium, it will auto-upgrade. If at v2.1.4.1018 Premium or greater, your system will still be queued for the v2.1.8.1057 upgrade.
Cheers |

I don't mean to be critical of MBAM but they should put this on the CDN if the issues have escalated thus far. Not seeing an Internal, yet.

Hi silj: Because of your "Honorary Members" ranking, in the MBAM forum, you may download MBAM2 v2.1.8.1057 from the link provided in the "Private Room" through your entitlement there. HTH |

Please read Marcin's explanation of how MBAM's upgrades are presently throttled. » www.wilderssecurity.com/ ··· -2501371» www.wilderssecurity.com/ ··· -2501376These posts may explain why some users do not see their upgrades sooner. Cheers. |

Some are getting impatient with not being able to download from the MBAM CDN and are going to other CDN's that are hosting v 2.1.8 » www.chip.de/downloads/Ma ··· 637.html |

I can't think of any reason why they don't have the current version available for download. |

Some are complaining that Wilders is flagging as This Connection is Untrusted Meaning they're using crappy self-signed certs, again Someone should have them to get modern and fix that. |

I'm glad they added the license key to the my account. I have a lifetime license, and saw it updated the program yesterday, went looking for my piece of paper that came with the hard copy of the software and couldn't find it, was gonna be bummed that I lost my lifetime license. But that solves that problem! |

I finally got the update on my PC's and it said there was a problem with my licence key which is lifetime so I clicked the second option saying I purchased my copy and then it gave my a new license key on each copy I have installed. |

There is surely a lost license process through MBAM's reseller Cleverbridge AG. I have mine saved as an HTM file that's portable and a back-up copy of the order email. |

First time ever on two computers but I told the program I bought it and they were happy. -- Printed on 100% recycled bytes |

It was a box copy bought through a seller on amazon. |

I wonder if my old lifetime code will work with 2.18 now in case I ever need to reinstall? |

As of yesterday, I still had no way of getting the update through MBAM. Nothing through the program and no legit full download.
I'm sorry but I don't buy the throttled excuse (IMO!) MBAM has been around now for a while. The old distribution worked fine from the users perspective. Now, with the new method, many users can't get the update. Who is the very reason MBAM exists? The users or a throttled download system?
MBAM, you tried something. It's not working. FIX IT!! |

I was finally prompted to update last night. Here's an alternative where you can find the offline download until it's hosted on the official site. Scroll to the bottom to find the download link » techdows.com/2015/06/mal ··· 1-7.html |
