Red X on Internet iconI am getting a red X over my internet icon this morning. But I am able to get onto the internet and email. OS is Win7 Pro. Any ideas? |

If you hover over the icon, or double click on it to bring up network properties, does it give any message? |

This glitches out from time to time, it's either the network icon or sound icon that glitches either restart the computer or explorer.exe and it will update. |

I had restarted in the morning 2 times and the RED X was still there... Now I am back home from work about 11 hours later, re-started the computer and the RED X is GONE... |

Do you have a choice of more than one network to log on to? If so, that could be the reason for the red X. |

Nope... Just my 1 home network... RED X is gone after booting up the PC this afternoon... So it doesn't seem to like the early morning...LOL... By the way, nice screen name!! |
