Disable PVR Auto Shutoff? Is anyone aware of a way to disable this? I've gone through settings and don't think I'm missing anything but thought I'd turn here to ask. If there isn't, I might make a post in the direct forum about it, I want this feature at least optional.
It seems to be set to 4 hours on the same channel, regardless of content if I've timed it right. There isn't even a prompt, it just shuts the PVR of and stops streaming the content to the theatre. We will occasionally leave it on with music on while doing housework, or sitting out back and out of nowhere it shuts itself off. |

Call Bell and ask that they change auto shutoff to 24 hours. Default is 4 hours. |

Unfortunately there is no way for us to modify the setting at this time |

Some folks would rather complain and threaten to cancel than check the guide once every 4 hours. Honestly... sounds to me like it's just on for noise at that point, and they should turn the radio on instead. It would use less electricity. |

Thanks for all the responses, being a business only feature makes sense I can see the rationale behind it. I'll eventually be getting a bluetooth speaker for outside so this will become a non-issue for me. This was just the interim solution to having music on while we're outside since my theatre is the source of everything in the household. |

Rogers does the same thing. Sometimes when I use the slingbox hooked up to my Rogers PVR, and I forget to turn it off, when i get home and turn on the TV, it will have a message scrolling "Press any key to resume viewing" or something like that.
I don't know what the timer for that is though. |
