for comparison's sake, i made $3.75/hr at the gas stations back in the day...adjusted for inflation, that's about $7/hr in today's "$$".

Yeah back in the 1970's I was making $3.35/hr and raised a family and bought a small house in Etobicoke. The generation today wants it all. Shit.. with $14.50/hr I could get 2 houses and raise 2 families.

LOL 14.50 Is the cost of my benefit package

your benefits package costs $14.50/hr??...ouch.

assuming a 40 hour work week, thats a little over $30k/year in benefits alone...that's pretty expensive...perhaps that's why there are TFWs.

there are TFW for corporate greed, not of any benefit to Canadians...that is why they TFW 7-8 of them are subjected to live in squalor, instead renting an apartment in a decent part of the city.
