I run a Radeon R9 390 on my desktop and have had no issues on 10, my laptop runs a nvidia gt 555m and using the driver that windows pushed it was having quite a few performance problems, but I went to nvidia's site and downloaded their newest driver package and so far all is well.

Ya, never ever use GPU drivers from microsoft. (unless its a surface)

Never had a problem with vanilla drivers. Then again, I don't really push graphical envelopes.
