Cautious optimism....

The last occurrence of the problem in my logs was at 10:03am, about 45 minutes ago. That's the longest run of no issues since it started yesterday afternoon.

Edit* Tech just called me and said he has been dealing with this since 3am and has no resolution and sees the issue on the network. Comcast needs to get this resolved.

I started monitoring this type of issue in April of this year. Below is a summary of my log showing the number times I had a connectivity issue for the days listed. If a day is not listed, there were no issues that day.

southerndoc posted : Just went through this in GA. Sent a tech out, ran a new line (no more noise on the line, it had previously been spliced), but after all that, problem still remained. Also, my neighbors were reporting the same issue.

Luckily they fixed it after the tech called into a "node tech."

rmang posted : Same here in Connecticut in 3 different towns - one business, two residential. Messed up routing around Boston and NYC hops. Comcast support clueless, spent hours on chat and phone with no luck... You would think they would see this massive issue...
