Awesome now if us SB-6183 owners could just get the new firmware then IPv6 would work perfect for us as well. Been using my SB-6141 till the release and this modem works great with IPv6.

I've been using an SB6183 for months, and it's been rock solid on IPv6.

You're lucky if you haven't experienced any issues. The unfortunate reality is there is an issue and hopefully firmware will be out to resolve it within the next few months.

This is the first I've heard of this issue.

Ok, we loaded the latest code we have for the SB6183 on n0xlf he couldn't recreate the issue.. I would hate to say it is fixed in the latest code but I would say it sounds like it doesn't show up.. It was an engineering build so not even a pre-lease, more like a beta before the beta release..

**UPDATE** ... best case we are looking at Q3 for code update but keep in mind things can push that to Q4\Q1 (like if the code doesn't pass a certification along the way).. A lot goes into getting code from engineering release to production release..

A small percent of the users are affected by this bug and the latest code should be out for Comcast here shortly..
