Comcast XFINITY TV → Re: [Video] MPEG-4

I had to sign up to share this info. That in south jersey this channel is on number 1998 and has been available since like march of this year. I'm so surprised that no body has mentioned this before.

And I did get a new X1 box and I was told that new HD channels are coming in South Jersey area this fall. I hope they keep their promise.

Nothing here in Ocean County. 1988 takes me to a "channel not available" message on TiVo. What part of South Jersey are you from? County? Town?

Well, I don't know if you just have a typo, but TTT3 said it was channel "1998."

However, in Monmouth County, Channel 1998 is the "Xfinity TV Help & Support" Channel.

In any case, on the "HD Enhanced Program" site, it's advertised as being on Channel 1995: »Re: [Video] MPEG-4

Yeah, was a typo on my end. When I put in 1998, I get that demo video loop you mentioned.

Atlantic county channel 1998 Comcast exfinity. It shows how X1 box works it's on a loop runs 24 hours.
That's because is on west coast. Here in east coast is channel 1998. I guess.
That because 1995 is in western states. Here in east coast xfinity X1 help channel is on channel 1998 I guess!

Channel 1995 is being used for the "HD Enhanced Program" in all areas of the U.S.
