I still have, run, and will continue to use, my SAS LIFETIME Professional Subscription. In the years I have used it, SAS has not discovered/blocked a major threat on my many systems. However, it still does seem to be fairly good at finding ordinary browser cookies you might permit. My own personal computer defense arsenal consists of very much more than SAS alone.
IMHO, I fear that the current owner of SAS (Support.com, Inc.) is not interested in positioning their SAS product anywhere near the leading edge in the never ending struggle that is IT security.
