Had similar issues on my end trying to access DVR anywhere on my iPhone. Ended up uninstalling mobile app from the phone and reinstalling. That fixed it for me. |

Also noticed last night you specifically have to be hooked up to the Wifi on the gateway router or it won't work. I have the wifi off on the gateway router because it sucks and am using an Apple Airport Extreme for wifi, in bridge mode, and it won't work. Even with the fios router distributing the IP addresses for the devices that connect via Wifi. |

VHO6 report as requested by miataman ... I have not been following this "DVR anywhere" thing so had not tried it. In fact, I don't think I'm ever tried the FiOS Mobile App, though I loaded it on my ASUS Memo 7 some time ago.
I started it up (version 4.1) and I was reading through the "intro" screen for the app for a few seconds when a pop-up came up introducing the DVR anywhere. So I tried a live TV station and it worked fine. Then I went to the menu and selected "DVR". My recorded shows were there and I started watching one. Worked very well, no hesitation or glitches. (I thought I would probably have to find some settings on the DVR to enable this but evidently not.)
I'm still unsure why I should want this - I prefer the 67 inch screen to the 7 inch screen...
end of report, Tom |

It is working for me on my ASUS tablet connected to my Google OnHub WiFi, not the Verizon router. (The OnHub is connected by wire to the Verizon router, bridge mode.) |

It is silly. I don't know why this is called DVR anywhere? It should be called DVR anywhere in your house. It's not like you can be out on the road and watch your DVR recordings which I would use. |

I was unable to stream a recorded program through my cell phone's LTE network due to program licensing restrictions. |

Not true. I am on my work's Wifi and I cannot see my home DVR, and it's recordings. |

Using the app at home results in buffering issues. Not sure if it is the app or the VMS. Submitted tickets to app support and they said I need a stronger connection. I replied back mentioning that I did not have the steaming issues until APR 3.0. Something needs to be corrected. |

Then I went to the local fire station. They use Cox Cable for the ISP. It worked fine there also. It took a little longer with the "preparing..." message after I clicked play. If figures, I'm not much interested in using this so it works for me... Tom |

My Bad. I am able to stream via Cellular, and also if I connect the device directly to the FGR's wifi. Not working with access point. Someone with a netgear confirmed the problem also. |

Alright-- it's been a few weeks (for VHO 8)-- how's your remote lag/guide working? |

But, the guide, a little different story. After the update, later in the week, the guide had loading problems, it would load the first 4- days immediately, then the next 8-9 days would not load (Please wait...) and the last 12-13 days would load OK. That problem was promptly addressed and fixed and now the guide loads out all days 13/14 days fairly fast, somethings with a 1-3 second pause the farther out you load. I am pleased with APR-3.0 johnf2 |

That's awesome to hear! The real test is if it will stand up with the next wave-- VHO 4 and 7 are both huge. |

VHO6 with APR-3.0. DVR Anywhere not working. I have the latest FiOS Mobile app, and an open ticket with Verizon Tech support, now at level 2. Working with tech support on the phone, I have done enough reinstalls of the app, and reboots of the ONT, router, and VMS to determine that there is absolutely nothing that I can do to get it working. Any solution will have to come from Verizon. It's not a configuration issue. Ironically, none of the help menu items in the mobile app work either! They all throw the same network connectivity error. It would be comical if I wasn't paying so much to Verizon every month. Tivo is looking better and better every day. |

Same issue here in VH08 except the Help menu in the app is where I still have a ticket opened for DVR not connecting. Its been 3 weeks without a response. |

Verizon responded to my help ticket last night regarding the DVR streaming not working. Basically they told me I had to call customer service and upgrade to Quantum level service. (I have had Quantum service for the past year!) And, even if I upgraded to Quantum service they said it still may not work as they are having an unknown issue with the service. Fantastic! Sounds like they have no clue - really concerns me when they tell me I have to get Quantum service when I have had it for over a year! |

Flawlessly? Tell that to all the folks who don't have DVR Anywhere working. Maybe you meant it's been on schedule so far |

I actually don't even care about DVR Anywhere. I'm just hoping there is improvement with the remote lag as others have reported. |
