Apple → Apple Watch missing a trivial feature

I've gotten used to a silly little feature I've had on probably all my digital watches I've worn for the past 20 years... The hourly chime...

I've looked in all the settings, there doesn't appear to be a way to either have a little "beep beep" on the hour, or a special taptic feedback.

I searched around, there doesn't appear to be any decent way around it, people have been setting hourly calendar events LOL and other stupid crap...

Why did Apple omit this very basic feature?

Simple. Don't stand up and you'll get your hourly "tap" at the 50 minute mark of the hour

Brings back memories of the timex triathlon and ironman watches I owned as a child/teen.

I do not know if my Casio G-Shock digital watch has this feature; if it does, I have never enabled it. Until I saw your post, I had never even thought about this.

It's usually disabled by default... It's just something i've always had enabled on my old watches, just used to it that's all...

Never mind

That app isn't clear if your phone also beeps on the hour... which I don't want it to do...

Anyway, not gonna try it if it isnt free to try.
